California-Klondyke Mining and Exploration Company papers, 1897-1898.

The papers consisit of letters from Alexander Del Mar, president of the Company, to George Bowen appointing him as agent and discssing company business. Within months of its formation, the company gave up the idea of prospecting in Alaska, but remained a mining company. There are two copies of the company's prospectus in the collection.
